The result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,738.77) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ruskin Spear have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Arty Tie in November 2003 with an auction result of GBP 33,460.00 (€ 48,032.33).
