Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Victor Pasmore, Painting by Rupert Shephard was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2013. The price achieved of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,142.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rupert Shephard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Native Women With Mats, which sold at auction in June 2005 for GBP 2,400.00 (€ 3,556.95).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.142,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Rupert Shephard mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Native Women With Mats beobachtet, die im Juni 2005 für GBP 2.400,00 (€ 3.556,95) versteigert wurde.
