It achieved a price of USD 600,800.00 (€ 492,701.33), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rufino Tamayo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work America in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 6,802,500.00 (€ 5,358,830.94).
