Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included this untitled work by Rudolf Bauer. Here, the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 7,560.00 (€ 6,490.94). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rudolf Bauer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Squares in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 850,000.00 (€ 773,148.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Rudolf Bauer zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 7.560,00 (€ 6.490,94) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rudolf Bauer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Squares im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 850.000,00 (€ 773.148,99).
