This work without title by Rudolf Bauer was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art auction at Sothebys in New York in October 2020. It achieved a price of USD 4,032.00 (€ 3,461.84), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rudolf Bauer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Squares in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 850,000.00 (€ 773,148.99).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Rudolf Bauer wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 4.032,00 (€ 3.461,84) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rudolf Bauer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Squares im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 850.000,00 (€ 773.148,99).
