Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Woman with Horse by Ruby Neri was sold in the First Open Online: Post-War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in New York in December 2018. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,546.79) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ruby Neri - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in October 2018 for USD 18,750.00 (€ 16,546.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Woman with Horse von Ruby Neri wurde im Dezember 2018 in der Auktion First Open Online: Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.546,79) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ruby Neri mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für USD 18.750,00 (€ 16.546,06) versteigert wurde.
