Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2020 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California, which included the work Horse & Rider, 2012 by Ruby Neri. The price achieved of USD 8,825.00 (€ 7,531.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ruby Neri - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in October 2018 for USD 18,750.00 (€ 16,546.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2020 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California durch, in der auch die Arbeit Horse & Rider, 2012 von Ruby Neri zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 8.825,00 (€ 7.531,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Ruby Neri mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für USD 18.750,00 (€ 16.546,06) versteigert wurde.
