Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art | Hong Kong, which included the work Unseeing by Ruben Pang. It changed hands for a price of HKD 88,200.00 (€ 9,806.95) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ruben Pang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Shredding Series, which sold at auction in July 2020 for HKD 225,000.00 (€ 24,651.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art | Hong Kong durch, in der auch die Arbeit Unseeing von Ruben Pang zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 88.200,00 (€ 9.806,95) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 70.000,00 – 90.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ruben Pang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Shredding Series beobachtet, die im Juli 2020 für HKD 225.000,00 (€ 24.651,78) versteigert wurde.
