Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hyperviligance by Ruben Pang was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in March 2016. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,073.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ruben Pang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Shredding Series, which sold at auction in July 2020 for HKD 225,000.00 (€ 24,651.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Hyperviligance von Ruben Pang kam im März 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 7.073,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Ruben Pang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Shredding Series beobachtet, die im Juli 2020 für HKD 225.000,00 (€ 24.651,78) versteigert wurde.
