A top price for Ruben Pang - as previously expected
In July 2020 Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale, which included the work The Shredding Series by Ruben Pang. The price achieved of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 24,651.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 180,000.00 – 280,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Shredding Series is the most expensive artwork by Ruben Pang that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Juli 2020 führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Shredding Series von Ruben Pang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 24.651,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 180.000,00 – 280.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist The Shredding Series das teuerste Kunstwerk von Ruben Pang, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
