In March 2007 Sothebys in Olympia held the auction 20th Century British & Irish Art, which included the work Warrior by Roy Turner Durrant. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,560.00 (€ 2,296.14), 30% above the upper estimate. Other works by Roy Turner Durrant have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 2,880.00 (€ 4,273.78) in June 2007 for the work Figure.
