Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Roy De Forest achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Steamship of Fate in July 2015 with an auction result of USD 68,750.00 (€ 62,341.31).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 6.875,00 (€ 6.001,22) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Roy De Forest erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Steamship of Fate im Juli 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 68.750,00 (€ 62.341,31).
