Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work For A Dark Hour Or Twain by Rosson Crow for GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,419.10). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Curated at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Rosson Crow have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tea Room At The Plaza 1914 in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 30,955.95).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit For A Dark Hour Or Twain von Rosson Crow für GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.419,10) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rosson Crow auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tea Room At The Plaza 1914 im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 30.955,95).
