In June 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work Torsos by Rosa Serra. The »bidding war« ended at USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,834.02), 46% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rosa Serra - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Miranda Univers, which sold at auction in December 2001 for EUR 10,575.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 46 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2017 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Torsos von Rosa Serra zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 4.375,00 (€ 3.834,02) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Rosa Serra mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Miranda Univers beobachtet, die im Dezember 2001 für EUR 10.575,00 versteigert wurde.
