In December 2009 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Estiu by Rosa Serra. The auction ended at the price of EUR 3,500.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rosa Serra - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Miranda Univers, which sold at auction in December 2001 for EUR 10,575.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Dezember 2009 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Estiu von Rosa Serra zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 3.500,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Rosa Serra mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Miranda Univers beobachtet, die im Dezember 2001 für EUR 10.575,00 versteigert wurde.
