Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Made in Britain, which included the work 'Rover 2-Seater' by Ron Arad. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,231.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ron Arad achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work London Papardelle in October 2008 with an auction result of GBP 139,250.00 (€ 177,493.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Made in Britain durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Rover 2-Seater' von Ron Arad zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.231,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ron Arad erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit London Papardelle im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 139.250,00 (€ 177.493,79).
