The work Diaphanous by Romulo Olazo was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 31,712.32), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Romulo Olazo; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Diaphanous sold at auction in December 2021 with the realized price of HKD 350,000.00 (€ 39,644.81).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 31.712,32) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Romulo Olazo; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Diaphanous im Dezember 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 350.000,00 (€ 39.644,81).
