Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (1896) by Romulo Olazo was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2018. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 160,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 175,000.00 (€ 19,751.83). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Romulo Olazo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Diaphanous, which sold at auction in December 2021 for HKD 350,000.00 (€ 39,644.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (1896) von Romulo Olazo kam im November 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 160.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 175.000,00 (€ 19.751,83) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Romulo Olazo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Diaphanous beobachtet, die im Dezember 2021 für HKD 350.000,00 (€ 39.644,81) versteigert wurde.
