This work without title by Rómulo Macció was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2017. It achieved a price of USD 36,250.00 (€ 32,262.37), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 45%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rómulo Macció - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sun and Cold on Nassau Street, which sold at auction in November 2016 for USD 81,250.00 (€ 76,810.36).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Rómulo Macció kam im Mai 2017 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 36.250,00 (€ 32.262,37) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 45%. Für andere Arbeiten von Rómulo Macció mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sun and Cold on Nassau Street beobachtet, die im November 2016 für USD 81.250,00 (€ 76.810,36) versteigert wurde.
