A top price for Rómulo Macció - as previously expected
In November 2016 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Sun and Cold on Nassau Street by Rómulo Macció. The price achieved of USD 81,250.00 (€ 76,810.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Sun and Cold on Nassau Street is the most expensive artwork by Rómulo Macció that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November 2016 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sun and Cold on Nassau Street von Rómulo Macció zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 76.810,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 70.000,00 – 90.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Sun and Cold on Nassau Street das teuerste Kunstwerk von Rómulo Macció, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
