The work Memoria by Rómulo Macció was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2011. It achieved a price of USD 35,000.00 (€ 24,346.13), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 40%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rómulo Macció - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sun and Cold on Nassau Street, which sold at auction in November 2016 for USD 81,250.00 (€ 76,810.36).

Die Arbeit Memoria von Rómulo Macció kam im Mai 2011 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 24.346,13) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 40%. Für andere Arbeiten von Rómulo Macció mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sun and Cold on Nassau Street beobachtet, die im November 2016 für USD 81.250,00 (€ 76.810,36) versteigert wurde.
