In the Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction, the work The Pac-Man Pacquiao sold for HKD 125,000.00 (€ 12,179.68) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 65,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rolando Ventura have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cream Of The 14Th Crop in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 57,785.34).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Rolando Ventura erzielte im April 2012 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings wurde die Arbeit The Pac-Man Pacquiao für HKD 125.000,00 (€ 12.179,68) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 65.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rolando Ventura auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cream Of The 14Th Crop im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 57.785,34).
