This artwork by Rolando Ventura achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2013. In the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian auction, the work Morning After sold for HKD 225,000.00 (€ 21,351.33) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 95,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rolando Ventura - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cream Of The 14Th Crop, which sold at auction in April 2015 for HKD 500,000.00 (€ 57,785.34).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Rolando Ventura erzielte im Oktober 2013 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian wurde die Arbeit Morning After für HKD 225.000,00 (€ 21.351,33) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 95.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Rolando Ventura mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cream Of The 14Th Crop beobachtet, die im April 2015 für HKD 500.000,00 (€ 57.785,34) versteigert wurde.
