The work Captain America by Rolando Ventura was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 212,500.00 (€ 24,188.69), 42% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rolando Ventura - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cream Of The 14Th Crop, which sold at auction in April 2015 for HKD 500,000.00 (€ 57,785.34).

Die Arbeit Captain America von Rolando Ventura wurde im April 2019 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 212.500,00 (€ 24.188,69) und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Rolando Ventura mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cream Of The 14Th Crop beobachtet, die im April 2015 für HKD 500.000,00 (€ 57.785,34) versteigert wurde.
