This artwork by Rolando Ventura achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. In the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction, the work Plastic Realism sold for HKD 212,500.00 (€ 23,927.82) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 90,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rolando Ventura - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cream Of The 14Th Crop, which sold at auction in April 2015 for HKD 500,000.00 (€ 57,785.34).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Rolando Ventura erzielte im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art wurde die Arbeit Plastic Realism für HKD 212.500,00 (€ 23.927,82) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 90.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Rolando Ventura mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cream Of The 14Th Crop beobachtet, die im April 2015 für HKD 500.000,00 (€ 57.785,34) versteigert wurde.
