The work Boundaries by Rolando Ventura was worth HKD 400,000.00 (€ 41,181.17) to a buyer in October 2014. This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 95,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Rolando Ventura; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Cream Of The 14Th Crop sold at auction in April 2015 with the realized price of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 57,785.34).
