In April 2013 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings, which included the work Captain America 1:12 by Rolando Ventura. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 93,750.00 (€ 9,177.08), 44% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Rolando Ventura have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cream Of The 14Th Crop in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 57,785.34).

Im April 2013 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Captain America 1:12 von Rolando Ventura zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 93.750,00 (€ 9.177,08) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rolando Ventura auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cream Of The 14Th Crop im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 57.785,34).
