Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans titre by Roland Topor was sold in the Belgian and contemporary art auction at Bonhams in Brussels in December this year. The price achieved of EUR 1,536.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Roland Topor have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The angry postman in February 2008 with an auction result of EUR 6,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans titre von Roland Topor wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion Belgian and contemporary art bei Bonhams in Brüssel versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.536,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Roland Topor auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The angry postman im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.250,00.
