Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,158.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Roland Topor have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The angry postman in February 2008 with an auction result of EUR 6,250.00.

Die Arbeit Knife Football, 1967 von Roland Topor kam im Juli 2012 bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.158,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Roland Topor auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The angry postman im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.250,00.
