Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Roland Topor achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in April 2016. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work Le Nid - 1984 sold for EUR 1,820.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Roland Topor - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The angry postman, which sold at auction in February 2008 for EUR 6,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Roland Topor erzielte im April 2016 bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Le Nid - 1984 für EUR 1.820,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 800,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Roland Topor mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The angry postman beobachtet, die im Februar 2008 für EUR 6.250,00 versteigert wurde.
