In October 2010 Il Ponte held the auction Art, Collections, Wonderful Passions | The Giorgio Soavi Collection, which included the work Paesaggio by Roland Topor. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,500.00 36% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Roland Topor have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The angry postman in February 2008 with an auction result of EUR 6,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 36 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2010 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Art, Collections, Wonderful Passions | The Giorgio Soavi Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paesaggio von Roland Topor zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.500,00 und damit 36% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Roland Topor auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The angry postman im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.250,00.
