Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Seated Dancer by Roland Strasser was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016. The price achieved of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 29,419.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 220,000.00 – 320,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Roland Strasser - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dancers, which sold at auction in April 2013 for HKD 687,500.00 (€ 67,298.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Seated Dancer von Roland Strasser kam im Oktober 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 29.419,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 220.000,00 – 320.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Roland Strasser mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dancers beobachtet, die im April 2013 für HKD 687.500,00 (€ 67.298,56) versteigert wurde.
