Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Balinese Holding a Rooster by Roland Strasser was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art Morning Session auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2020. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,251.64). Admittedly, works by Roland Strasser have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dancers in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 67,298.56).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Balinese Holding a Rooster von Roland Strasser wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Morning Session bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 68.750,00 (€ 7.251,64) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Roland Strasser auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dancers im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 67.298,56).
