This artwork by Roger Chastel achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in December 2006. In the Modern & Contemporary Art auction, the work Composition Au Gueridon sold for EUR 6,166.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Roger Chastel; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Le Bistrot (Xxviii), 1961 sold at auction in December 2006 with the realized price of EUR 8,016.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Roger Chastel erzielte im Dezember 2006 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Composition Au Gueridon für EUR 6.166,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Roger Chastel; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Le Bistrot (Xxviii), 1961 im Dezember 2006 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 8.016,00.
