Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Through The Trees by Rodrigo Moynihan was sold in the 20th Century British & Irish Art auction at Sothebys in Olympia in March 2007. The price achieved of GBP 1,800.00 (€ 2,649.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rodrigo Moynihan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Girl in a Bar, which sold at auction in November 2000 for GBP 6,462.50 (€ 10,562.70).

Die Arbeit Through The Trees von Rodrigo Moynihan wurde im März 2007 in der Auktion 20th Century British & Irish Art bei Sothebys in Olympia versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.800,00 (€ 2.649,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Rodrigo Moynihan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Girl in a Bar beobachtet, die im November 2000 für GBP 6.462,50 (€ 10.562,70) versteigert wurde.
