Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work The garden statue by Rodrigo Moynihan for GBP 500.00 (€ 620.01). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rodrigo Moynihan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Girl in a Bar in November 2000 with an auction result of GBP 6,462.50 (€ 10,562.70).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The garden statue von Rodrigo Moynihan für GBP 500,00 (€ 620,01) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rodrigo Moynihan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Girl in a Bar im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.462,50 (€ 10.562,70).
