Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Rodrigo Moynihan could be acquired at Christies in London in October 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th Century British Art auction, the work Nudes in a landscape changed hands for GBP 625.00 (€ 796.65) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rodrigo Moynihan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Girl in a Bar in November 2000 with an auction result of GBP 6,462.50 (€ 10,562.70).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Rodrigo Moynihan konnte im Oktober 2008 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 20th Century British Art wechselte die Arbeit Nudes in a landscape für GBP 625,00 (€ 796,65) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rodrigo Moynihan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Girl in a Bar im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.462,50 (€ 10.562,70).
