Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2017 Phillips in New York held the auction Latin America, which included this untitled work by Rodolfo Nieto. Here, the upper estimate of USD 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 40,000.00 (€ 33,619.10). Admittedly, works by Rodolfo Nieto have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Toro in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 293,000.00 (€ 215,346.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2017 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Latin America durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Rodolfo Nieto zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 35.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 40.000,00 (€ 33.619,10) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rodolfo Nieto auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Toro im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 293.000,00 (€ 215.346,17).
