This work without title by Rodolfo Nieto was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in November 2018. It achieved a price of USD 35,000.00 (€ 30,910.54), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 59%. Admittedly, works by Rodolfo Nieto have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Toro in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 293,000.00 (€ 215,346.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 59 % übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Rodolfo Nieto wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 30.910,54) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 59%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rodolfo Nieto auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Toro im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 293.000,00 (€ 215.346,17).
