Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2017 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Rodolfo Nieto (1936-1985) by Rodolfo Nieto. The price achieved of USD 11,875.00 (€ 10,568.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rodolfo Nieto achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Toro in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 293,000.00 (€ 215,346.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2017 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rodolfo Nieto (1936-1985) von Rodolfo Nieto zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 10.568,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rodolfo Nieto erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Toro im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 293.000,00 (€ 215.346,17).
