Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Panthère by Rodolfo Nieto was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2017. The price achieved of USD 17,500.00 (€ 15,574.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rodolfo Nieto achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Toro in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 293,000.00 (€ 215,346.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Panthère von Rodolfo Nieto kam im Mai 2017 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 15.574,94) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rodolfo Nieto erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Toro im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 293.000,00 (€ 215.346,17).
