Auction result misses estimated price range
In March last year a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (Sticks) (in 28 parts) by Robin Rhode for EUR 12,600.00. This price was achieved in the auction Living Contemporary at Sothebys in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Robin Rhode have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Street Gym in November 2011 with an auction result of USD 92,500.00 (€ 68,757.90).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (Sticks) (in 28 parts) von Robin Rhode für EUR 12.600,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Living Contemporary bei Sothebys in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robin Rhode auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Street Gym im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 92.500,00 (€ 68.757,90).
