Auction result well in line with expectations
In October last year Christies in London held the auction A Place With No Name: Works from the Sina Jina Collection, which included the work Untitled, Basin by Robin Rhode. The price achieved of GBP 13,860.00 (€ 16,146.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Robin Rhode have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Street Gym in November 2011 with an auction result of USD 92,500.00 (€ 68,757.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion A Place With No Name: Works from the Sina Jina Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled, Basin von Robin Rhode zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 13.860,00 (€ 16.146,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robin Rhode auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Street Gym im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 92.500,00 (€ 68.757,90).
