The work White Walls by Robin Rhode was sold in the A Life Among Artists: Contemporary Photographs from an Esteemed Private Collection auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2021. The »bidding war« ended at USD 47,880.00 (€ 41,357.86), 60% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Robin Rhode; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Street Gym sold at auction in November 2011 with the realized price of USD 92,500.00 (€ 68,757.90).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 47.880,00 (€ 41.357,86) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Robin Rhode; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Street Gym im November 2011 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 92.500,00 (€ 68.757,90).
