In the New York New York auction, the work The Red and Black sold for USD 11,250.00 (€ 9,832.20) - well above the upper estimate of USD 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Robert Moskowitz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in March 2020 with an auction result of USD 47,500.00 (€ 43,068.27).
