Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Skyscraper by Robert Moskowitz. The price achieved of USD 4,788.00 (€ 4,144.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Moskowitz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in March 2020 with an auction result of USD 47,500.00 (€ 43,068.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Skyscraper von Robert Moskowitz zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.788,00 (€ 4.144,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Moskowitz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 43.068,27).
