This artwork by Robert Michel achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in November 2017. In the Impressionist and Modern Art Works on Paper Sale auction, the work Kurbelwellen Kinematogramm sold for USD 40,000.00 (€ 33,619.10) - well above the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Robert Michel; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Anti-Stilleben: "Gebruder Montgolfier" Gennant (Anti-Still Life Called "The Montgolfier Brothers") sold at auction in November 2013 with the realized price of USD 68,750.00 (€ 50,529.18).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Robert Michel erzielte im November 2017 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Works on Paper Sale wurde die Arbeit Kurbelwellen Kinematogramm für USD 40.000,00 (€ 33.619,10) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Robert Michel; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Anti-Stilleben: "Gebruder Montgolfier" Gennant (Anti-Still Life Called "The Montgolfier Brothers") im November 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 68.750,00 (€ 50.529,18).
