Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work I'm Stuck from the series Photo Composition by Robert Melee for USD 313.00 (€ 269.32). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Melee achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Not Sure in November 2009 with an auction result of USD 9,375.00 (€ 6,252.50).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit I'm Stuck from the series Photo Composition von Robert Melee für USD 313,00 (€ 269,32) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Melee erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Not Sure im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 6.252,50).
