The price achieved of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 20,414.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Robert MacBryde have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2017 the work Red and Black Still Life was auctioned for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,317.37).
