A top price for Robert MacBryde - as previously expected
The work Red and Black Still Life by Robert MacBryde was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,317.37) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Red and Black Still Life is the most expensive artwork by Robert MacBryde that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Red and Black Still Life von Robert MacBryde kam im Juni 2017 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 31.317,37) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
